Privacy Policy

[Chairly] is operated by [Johnny Medhane]. We provide a booking platform used by independent barbershops. This policy explains what personal data we collect and how it is used.

• Account details: name, email address, phone number and password (stored securely, never in plain text).
• Booking data: the shop, barber, service, date and time of your appointments, and your booking history.
• Shop owner and staff data: business details, opening hours, services, prices, photos and contact links they publish.
• Technical data: login session information needed to keep you signed in, and basic server logs for security and troubleshooting.

When you book with a barbershop, that shop decides what to do with your booking details and we process them on its behalf to run the booking system. For your account and the platform itself, we decide how data is used.

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:

• the barbershop you book with, to fulfil your appointment
• service providers that host and run the platform (such as our database and hosting providers), who may process data only on our instructions
• authorities, where required by law

Data is stored with our hosting providers, which may be located outside Israel. We take reasonable steps to ensure it stays protected wherever it is processed.

We only use what is needed to run the service. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

• Sign-in cookies (names start with "sb-"): keep you logged in. Essential.
• Your cookie choice (stored in your browser's local storage): remembers that you have seen the cookie notice.
• Review reminder flag (stored for the browser session): remembers that you closed the review prompt.

We keep your data while your account is active and as long as needed for the purposes above. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data, except where we must keep some records by law.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including access controls and encrypted connections. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You may ask to see the personal data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. To make a request, email us and we will respond within a reasonable time. For booking data held by a particular shop, we may need to involve that shop.

The service is not intended for children under 16 creating their own accounts. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version, and we will notify you of significant changes.
